Transgenderism is the new wave of modernism in today’s world, and it’s growing rapidly every day. Are you born transgender? No. Is being transgender possible? No.
In the beginning, male and female were created. Male and female matter. Why?
Both are equally different, and these differences are objectively real. These differences matter and they simply cannot be ignored. The chromosomes in our bodies that determine our sex affect everything from our brains to blood cells. Surgery does not automatically change one's sex because sex cannot be changed. Say what you want, but it’s simply not possible.
“And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it… And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.” Genesis 1:26-28; 31 (ESV)
In Genesis, God speaks life into the world. Creation bursts forth just by the sound of his voice. What a beautiful story. He created the sun, the moon, the earth and the sky, but his creation of mankind is far different than nature. He honors humanity by creating them in His own image. Male and female are fashioned perfectly, and yes, he separates humankind into two sexes. Not three or four but two. Both are distinct and valuable, and both reflect the image of God. His intelligent design for mankind is perfect, and in that design, God creates marriage and family. Each portion of life reflects God’s image. God certainly doesn’t make mistakes, and in no way would he create someone to be born in the wrong body. Male or female, you have a purpose. Changing your body into something else because you feel different will not bring satisfaction. It’ll only bring more confusion, which is exactly what sin does.
Sin also brings chaos and destruction, and this is exactly what the transgender movement is doing. We live in a broken world where “feelings” reign over truth and everything else. We live in a society that says gender should no longer matter, but that’s simply not the case, gender does matter. But living in a genderless society is becoming more applauded and approved, bringing more chaos to our world, and ultimately, destroying the lives of people and families.
The most important thing is that it offends God. Nobody is born male or female by chance but in accordance to the plan of Divine Providence (Jer. 1:5). God created male and female (Gen.1:27), not male, female, and transgender. Society is so passionate about getting rid of truth and God’s intelligent design that they will do anything to do it.
Transvestites are of a similar but not as extreme group, the Bible clearly condemns this activity also; Deuteronomy 22:5 “A woman shall not wear man’s clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.
Answer: The Bible never specifically addresses the issue of abortion. However, there are numerous teachings in Scripture that make it abundantly clear what God’s view of abortion is. Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that God knows us before He forms us in the womb. Psalm 139:13-16 speaks of God’s active role in our creation and formation in the womb. Exodus 21:22-25 prescribes the same penalty—death—for someone who causes the death of a baby in the womb as for someone who commits murder. This clearly indicates that God considers a baby in the womb to be just as much of a human being as a full-grown adult. For the Christian, abortion is not a matter of a woman’s right to choose. It is a matter of the life or death of a human being made in God’s image (Genesis 1:26-27; 9:6).
What does the Bible say about abortion? Simply put, abortion is murder; it is the killing of a human being who is created in the image of God.
The first argument that always arises against the Christian stance on abortion is “What about cases of rape and/or incest?” As horrible as it would be to become pregnant as a result of rape and/or incest, is the murder of a baby the answer? Two wrongs do not make a right. The child who is a result of rape/incest could be given in adoption to a loving family unable to have children on their own. Again, the baby is completely innocent and should not be punished for the evil acts of its father.
The second argument that usually arises against the Christian stance on abortion is “What about when the life of the mother is at risk?” Honestly, this is the most difficult question to answer on the issue of abortion. First, let’s remember that this situation is the reason behind less than one-tenth of one percent of the abortions done in the world today. Second, let’s remember that God is a God of miracles. He can preserve the life of a mother and her child despite all the medical odds being against it. Third, even in the one-tenth of one-percent of abortions that are done to save the life of the mother, in the vast majority of these cases, an early induced delivery of the baby or a C-section is what is necessary, not an abortion. This early inducement may result in the death of the baby, but it is extremely rare that a baby must be actively aborted in order to save the life of the mother. Some doctors say that abortion is never medically necessary to save the life of the mother. Ultimately, though, if the life of the mother is genuinely at risk, a decision like this can only be decided between a woman, her doctor, oftentimes the father of the child, and God. Any woman facing this extremely difficult situation should pray to the Lord for wisdom (James 1:5) as to what He would have her do.
Over 98 percent of the abortions performed today involve women who simply do not want to have the baby. Less than two percent of abortions are for the reasons of rape, incest, or the mother's life is at risk. Even in these more difficult two percent of instances, abortion should never be the first option. The life of a human being in the womb is worth every effort to allow the child to be born.
For those who have had an abortion, remember that the sin of abortion is no less forgivable than any other sin. Through faith in Christ, all sins can be forgiven (John 3:16; Romans 8:1; Colossians 1:14). A woman who has had an abortion, a man who has encouraged an abortion—or even a doctor who has performed one—can all be forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ.
The Bible doesn't speak of homosexuality very often; but when it does, it condemns it as sin. Let's take a look.
Homosexuality is clearly condemned in the Bible. It undermines God's created order where He made Adam and Eve, a man and a woman, to carry out his command to fill and subdue the earth (Genesis 1:28). Homosexuality cannot fulfill that mandate. Also, homosexuality undermines the basic family unit of husband and wife which is the God-ordained means of procreation. Again, homosexuality cannot do that. And, believe it or not, homosexuality is also dangerous to society.
Homosexuality has a heavy judgment administered by God Himself upon those who commit it and support it.
Romans 1:26-27, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error."
As a result of being "given over," they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. They will not seek forgiveness, and they will not repent. They will then die in their sins and face God's righteous condemnation. But, their rebellion against God does not stop there. Those who are judged by God this way, also promote their sin and condemn others who don't approve of their behavior.
Romans 1:32, "...and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them."
So, in their "hearty approval" of homosexuality, they encourage others to accept their practice, and so their sin and rebellion against God spread. This means they will reject Christ's redemptive work on the cross. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, they will have no salvation. Without salvation, there is only damnation in eternal hell. We Christians don't want this for anyone. We want them to experience the great love of God through the person and work of Christ who died for our sins (1 Peter 2:24).
So we must STAND against these lies and destructive movements.
